Installation Abort

I am attempting to install TSVN for the first time. I accept the license
agreement, select an install dir (the default), click 'install', a progress
graph climbs to 100%, and then this message appears:

"TortoiseSVN 1.4.1.7992 (32 bit) setup ended prematurely because of an
error. Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a
later time, please run the installation again."

There is no indication of what is wrong. Please help me.
