The weird thing is that these files are not versioned (not in the
repository) anymore. But you're right: they had been versioned in the
past. I've noticed it because the .svn folders were still there. I've
deleted the .svn folders and now everything works fine. It's strange
this appears only since the upgrade to 1.4.0 (does it mean that the
mechanism for the overlay icons also inspects the ignored folders since
that version? if yes, what's the rationale? I can't understand).

Anyway, thank you very much for your help. It was really annoying.
