Hi Rob,

I don't know if this will solve your issue, but on the TortoiseSVN settings
dialog there is a section called 'Display' which has a check box 'activate
shortcuts in context menu' at the bottom.

This is a three state check box which will step through the modes:
- Owner drawn (nice icon + text), default after install
- Windows drawn (ugly icon + text)
- Windows drawn (no icon, text with hotkeys)

Maybe the second or better the third mode will help you to see the content
of the context menu in the screen reader too.

Cheers
- Lübbe
