Feature Request: Make it easier to turn a (visual) diff into a patch file

I wanted to create a .diff recently. I wanted to compare two revisions and
output those changes into a file; somewhat like the tortoisesvn merge tool
allows me to do visually.
After trying the menu item for "create patch", I ended up somewhat confused.

I thought "maybe I can just use tortoise merge to compare the two files".
I located the two revisions I wanted to diff, got them into tortoise merge
- only there was no way to turn what I could see on the screen into a .diff

The 'save as' function; where I would have expected to be able to do this
didn't allow me to.

In the end I had go back to the command line; and svn diff by hand :(

(i'm not on the mailing list, so please explicitly cc me in on any response)
