That is very useful to know.

However, in my case this is still no good because I occasionally need to work with working-copies using the SVN client commands on
the (Linux Debian-Sarge) server itself and as you know you can't have mixed client versions 1.3 and 1.4 acting on the same working
copy <http://subversion.tigris.org/svn_1.4_releasenotes.html>.

[That's fine, I'm sure our Sys Admin (ie. God ;-) will deign to consider upgrading the servers in the new year!]
