Multiple repository selection woes

Sorry, replied to someone to get the 'To' address and buried my query in some auth thread or other, anyhow ....
Sorry, read from bottom up, having a bad day.
Actually today I had all 3 actual repositorys selected, chose Update and got this:-
Completed: At revision: 258
Error: No such revision 258
The first of the 3 is at 258, the other 2 are at 257, it would appear that selecting multiple repositories is an unknown/unsupported/and not working feature.

                Subject: Link RC Update Feature
I have a link on my desktop to a rep. and another couple of rep. folders actually residing on my desktop.
                Scenario :-
1 RC the linked / Update - works fine, as does the actual ones.
2 Select multiple actual ones RC Update works like a charm.
3 Include the linked one with an actual one, RC over the linked one, Update, just updates the linked one.
4 As 3 but RC over and actual one results in :-
                Completed: At revision: 257
                Skipped: C:\Documents and Settings\xxxxx\Desktop\Depot_Live.lnk
so worked for the actual and skips the linked one.
                Bug or feature? Or curiousity?
