You're asking in the wrong place for that, you'd need to talk to
people who know about MS Office and OpenOffice.

It doesn't pick these up automatically. In the TSVN Settings dialog
under "External Programs->Diff Viewers" you click the Advanced button.
 List of extension specific diff viewers is there. Fairly soimple
from TSVN's standpoint, just calls some app, any app, and specifies
old versions filename and new versions filename.
