This happened to me yesterday, and again today.
Using the newly released 1.4.0, I go to commit my work. Yesterday, no
files showed up in the commit dialog. Today, only about three out of
the seven or so showed up. Using "check for modifications" reveals all
modified files. Went back and forth several times each time between the
commit dialog and the check for modifications dialog, but the same
results happened each time -- all files in the check for modifications,
but not all in the commit dialog. Rebooted today, and the situation
persisted. Eventually, I just did the commit using the subversion
command-line client, which seemed to work fine.
Environment:
Windows 2000 with latest updates (I think)
Working copies were probably upgraded silently to 1.4.0.
First problem was on a merge. Did one update while working.
Second problem was also after a merge. Maybe that's not relevant, but
I'm not sure.
I couldn't find this issue when doing a search of the mailing lists, but
it seems to be happening here with pretty good frequency. I'm not sure
what triggers the situation, however.
(Note: I'm not subscribed to the mailing list, but I check it periodically.)
Regards,
Dan
