Bug: Saving file sometimes fails while TSVNCache running

From: Richard Elton <Richard.Elton_at_mahjongmania.com>

I edit a large text file, currently 1.2MB, that is versioned using SVN.

My editor is Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0.

I save the file from the editor.

The editor pops up the message "'C:\pathname\Notes.txt'

Cannot save file. The file may be in use by another application."

At this point the file no longer exists. (I don't blame TortoiseSVN

for that. Stupid editor.)

If I kill TSVNCache.exe, saving never fails.

The problem is frustratingly intermittent. It took over an hour before

I got it to happen once while I wrote this... and now it happens every

time.

My current version of TortoiseSVN is 1.3.5, Build 6804,

but I first recognized the problem over 6 months ago.
