Thanks very much, Stefan, I installed the nightly build (TortoiseSVN-1.4.0.7140-dev-win32-svn-1.4.0.msi) and it works like a charme! As I cannot reproduce the problems related to neon and mod_sspi, I'll definitely use it and switch the repositories to NTLM.
