AD auth for linux server: sspi ?

From: Julien TOUCHE <julien.touche_at_lycos.com>

i have a linux server (centos4) with svn+apache configure. for now, i
use htacess, but i want to switch on domain AD auth, if possible.

a lot of posts and the faq talks about sspi for apache
http://subversion.tigris.org/faq.html#sspi
http://tortoisesvn.sourceforge.net/docs/release/TortoiseSVN_en/ch03.html#tsvn-serversetup-apache-5
(the link "Get the mod_auth_sspi module" is dead)

but i'm not too sur if it's ok for linux or only windows. i've
downloaded 1.0.1 somewhere else on the web (google). Makefile is
windows, so ...

i'm wrong ?
if not, are there any advised options on linux ? (mod_auth_kerb, ldap, &
co ...)

thanks
Regards
