Re: TSVNCache.exe opens filehandles

I've been using DriveCrypt for a long time (5+ years?). I've had SVN archive on an encrypted drive for at least 1 to 2 (maybe more?) years with no problems. I even host the SVN repository on one of my drives.

I've tried TrueCrypt and will probalby switch -- it's open source. I bought a DriveCrypt license a long time ago, but have not upgraded (I'm still running v3) in a long time. When I mirrored everything to TrueCrypt, everything seemed to work there with no problems. I just have not switched yet.

Hi,

N> Thanks for that. Can you tell me, have you had any corruption problems with
N> DriveCrypt or TrueCrypt?

I use TrueCrypt with some svn wcs inside. I have encrypted an entire
partition, and I have had no corruption so far (2 weeks).

But, I just cannot unmount the volume. I can shutdown the computer,
but when I try to do that, a window appears - that "waiting for
TrueCrypt to shut down" with a 20 second progress bar - and it goes
away after 5/7 seconds.

Hope this helps,

Fernando Nájera
