[Newbie] Hosting more than one project in Tortoise?

Hello

Going through "TortoiseSVN A Subversion client for Windows Version 1.3.0"
to create a local, server-free source control, I created the repository and
imported a first project this way:

1. Created c:\repo, right-clicked on it > TortoiseSVN > Create repository
here. Went OK.
2. Next, I went to the directory where the source files were for Project1,
right-clicked on it > TortoiseSVN > Import. As repository, I used
file:///C:/repo/Project1:

Adding...
Adding...
Completed: At revision: 1

3. Went to the directory where the source files were for Project2,
right-clicked on it > TortoiseSVN > Import. As repository, used
file:///C:/repo/Project2

Adding...
Adding...
Completed: At revision: 2

=> Revision 2 for a new project? Those files have just been imported, and
haven't even been checked out yet. Obviously, I don't understand how to
organize multiples projects in the same repository. Could someone tell me
how I should proceed to keep projects independent from each other?

Thank you.
