I tried about ten reboots since then. Either logging in first as
an admin, then as a standard user; opening the S:\ drive after or
before the C:\Sources folder; nothing helped.

What's more, I've checked all drive types in the settings dialog,
for the overlays to show up, so I guess whatever GetDriveType
returns, TortoiseSVN should paint the overlays, no ?

Can I do anything to help you understand what's going on, on my
system ? Maybe run a piece of test code exericizing GetDriveType ?
