Also, I am aware of, and sometimes use, the $Revision$ keyword,
however, many times there are overriding reasons to not use it,
including, but limited to, use of outside sourcefiles where we need
to preserve the original $Revision$ keyword values.

Also, the scripts put all the revision information into a single
version_info.h file so that all such information is readily accessable
to both debug and diagnostic tools.
