We already know about this issue. But since such MAC line endings aren't
  (and shouldn't be) used anymore, we don't plan to change TortoiseMerge
to support those.
You see, those line endings were used by the original Mac computers. All
later models used (and use) the LF line ending style.

Where did you get such files from? Such text files should be long extinct.
