I should have mentioned that I tried that and it didn't work. Turns out that a recent Microsoft update makes it impossible to install MSIs unless you are logged in as Administrator; just being a user in the admin group is no longer good enough. Or that's the buzz on various mailing lists, and it worked for me; others are reporting not even that worked. Such fun.
