Comments , labels, something

Hello

I need to know how apply to subdirectories in SubVersion, any kind of label
or comments.
I have to indetify certain special topics among the projects, and the best
way to do that, i guess that is putting it a label or comment.
If there are another way for create this (without "tags"), please contact to
me.
