How to de-nest a nested working copy?

From: Adam Aulick <adam_at_aulick.net>

I have a repository hierarchy like this:

trunk
  include
  src
    my_project
    ...eighty-odd other projects

I never did a checkout on the "...lots and lots of other projects".

I want to do a single atomic checkin of large numbers of changes in the include
and my_project directories, but I can't. If I do "SVN Commit..." on the trunk
directory, my_project is not listed in any way. If I do a "Check for
modifications" the text status of my_project is "Nested" and the directory is
not recursed into.

How do I connect my_project to the parent working copy, given I've already made
the changes, and I can't fit all of src on my disk?
