*.mat files

Well, that's exactly what I already did. But then there is still the
link-arrow-icon. Now it's the matlab icon + arrow before it was the
access icon + arrow.
I can see no way how to get rid of the shortcut-arrow. Can shortcuts be
handled by TSVN - obviously not?!
So changing from access to matlab association in the *mat files does not
get me any further to use *.mat files with TSVN :-(

does not observe this behaviour, so I think it's a feature of the Win XP
SP2 explorer.

Yes, the .mat extension is registered when you install Access and gets
special treatment by Windows.

You can just delete the MAT file type from Windows using the file types
configuration dialog in Explorer (you can find it under the Tools menu
of explorer). Maybe you have to reboot, but then everything is works
again. I tried it.

You can also use RegEdit.exe to delete the "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.mat" key,
but this is for advanced users only :-)
