*.mat files

This is strange!
*.mat files are binary files in Matlab (by Mathworks). From their
support database I got the following information:
'The MAT-file extension is intentionally hidden by Microsoft because it
is the same as their extension for Microsoft Access Table'.

*.mat files then have a shortcut/link icon (with arrow) at least at my
and my collegues PCs.
And there is really no hint to TSVN not in the pop-up menu and not in
the properties-tab of the mat file.

kind regards
Horst

Just created a file called "test.mat". No problems at all!
Could add it to version control, commit it, update, show log, ...
Everything works.

What exactly are you trying to do?
What is a *.mat file anyway?
Why do you think those files are handled by windows?
