global-ignores

I have tried several ways to get subversion to ignore defined file names and
folders.

I started with http://tortoisesvn.sourceforge.net/node/29 and red the
Subversion Book entry.

We have subversion hosted on a Windows 2000 Server and are accessing it by the
file:// protocol.

I tried adding a subversion folder to C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Application Data\ on the server with an edited config file that contains:

global-ignores = *.projdata *.pdb *.exe *.dll obj tmp temp bin *proj.user *.o
*.obj *.ncb *.suo *.pyc Debug TempPE

I tried copying this file to the All Users folder on my box, to my user's
folder on my box and on the server.

I also tried setting the global ignore pattern in the TortoiseSVN Settings on
my machine. Nothing seems to work.

Any input would be welcome.

Rich
