BUG: custom dictionary randomly gets lost

I regularly add words to my custom Subversion dictionary from my commit messages. Occasionally I have found that words I have added previously to my dictionary no longer are in my dictionary. When this happens I have located my custom dictionary file and it looks like it had been wiped and started afresh.
