got stuck checking out

Hi list

i am using tortoise as eclipse plugin. until now it worked properly and
very stable - however, since yesterday svn stops checking out at 10
percent and doesn't do anything more.
stand alone client embedded to windows explorer acts the same..

HELP, please...
