more issues with ignore lists

Ok, I've got a couple other issues with the ignore lists.

First, a bug - ignoring a file with brackets in the name,
specifically a [, causes the ignore to be ignored. It's actually in
there, but the menu doesn't change. I don't know if it successfully
ignores it during add/commits.

Next, a feature request - it'd be really great to have an ignore-list
browser, particularly on directories where I don't have a file to use
the context menu on.
