Aside from automating some keystrokes on simple operations, how would
this be advantageous over using the various svn language bindings that
already exist, or just using the command-line client in shell scripts?
 I don't understand that the benefit of layering a scripting API on
top of a GUI which in turn rests over a common library which already
offers a scriptable API.
