It was asked by others. The 'problem' is they want to include some
important fixes for BDB and use BDB4.4 instead of BDB4.3. But that
requires quite some changes, and those changes aren't really finished
yet (there still are some issues with memory cleanup). IMHO they
shouldn't have done that for an intermediate release but waited with
that for 1.4.x - but that's just my opinion.
