Icon Overlays and Citrix

I have successfully created a svn repository and established a working
copy on a samba share. Both of these are located on servers at the same
remote location. When I install tortoise on my local pc and map the
samba share directly everything works beautifully but very slowly thanks
to network bandwidth limitations. However, when I install tortoise on
our citrix server and use the windows explorer there (this gives me much
better performance since the repository, file server, and desktop are
all 'local') I cannot see any of the icon overlays. Everything else
works great. I have reviewed the comments on terminal services and user
permissions and I am looking to see if that is somehow related to my
problem. Since even the first user cannot see the icons I think there
is something else going on here.

I am using the latest version of tortoise and an up to date version of
citrix. I have checked all drive types in the tortoise settings and the
citrix server has been rebooted since tortoise was installed.

Can anyone give me any other ideas to get the icon overlays to display
properly in this configuration?
