All this option does is create an Environment variable
SVN_ASP_DOT_NET_HACK that when present causes subversion libraries to
use _svn directories instead of .svn directories. The issue had to do
with .svn directories existing within the asp.net web app directory
would cause the issue. I don't see how using _svn directories would
cause your web app to fail, and since you give absolutely no
information as to HOW it's failing I can only describe what the option
does.
