Questions about SSPI

From: Sridhar Boovaraghavan <sridhar_ml_at_yahoo.com>

I am using both svn 1.3.0 and tsvn 1.3.1 to access a repository
on a Windows Server 2003 box. The server is running Apache 2.0.55
and is setup to use SSPI authentication. I would like to access
the repository from clients where I have logged in using my
domain account without getting prompted for username/passwords.

The following is my understanding of the current status. Please
correct if I am mistaken.

1. The svn client 1.3.0 has this feature enabled such that it
doesn't prompt for username/passwords in a setup with SSPI
authentication.

2. TSVN 1.3.0 has the same feature disabled.

When I access the repository using a browser (firefox 1.5.1),
should I expect to be prompted with a username/password? If so,
what needs to be done to make this prompt go away? (I am browsing
the repository from a computer where I have logged in using the
domain account.)

Does 1 and 2 above simply mean that I will and will not be
prompted for a username/password when I use the command-line svn
client and tsvn respectively?

Will the fact that 1 doesn't prompt me for a username/password
extend to ankhsvn?

Thanks,
Sridhar
