I was thinking of offering this suggestion, but it overlooks the one problem
he has... Externally it uses port 8080, while internally it uses port 80.
Could you possibly have the internal server use port 8080 too, and then just
add/remove a line from the %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file for
intranet.company.com whenever you leave the work network?
