How does CleanUp works

  HI,

  In the TortoiseSVn help manual it is stated that the “CleanUp” Command is used to clear inconsistencies in the local copy.

  a) What are the inconsistencies in the local copy?
  b) How do they occur?
  c) How “Clean Up” contribute to overcome this?
