Explorer file symbols not apparent with remvable media

Hello all

I have been assessing the use of SVN and TortoiseSVN for my firmware
development, and am very impressed.

I have noticed one feature though that I do not understand.

When a working copy is on removable media (in my case a USB flash drive),
the folder/file images do not show, although the right click functions and
general operation is as usual (on a fixed drive).

Any thoughts about this? I have seen a thread talking about this, but cannot
find it at present.

I am running XP-SP2, with SVN 1.2.3 and Tortoise 1.2.6 at present.

I can confirm that v1.2.6 sorts the columns correctly and does show the
triangle which indicates the direction.
