how to ignore versioned files

Hi All!

I have some *.ini files under version control, and those contain
pathnames which are different on my
laptop and desktop computer. (These files change very rare) .Because of
this, these files are almost
never in synch with the repository. The annoying thing, that I can never
update/commit my whole
project, rather I have to synchronize every directory by hand, and
ignore these INI files.
Do you know any workaround for this problem ? It would be good if by
default these files would not get
sychronized, but I could do it manually if I needed it.
It would be good, if svn:ignore worked for versioned files as well, but
it does not.

Am I the only person who ran into this problem ? :)

thanks for any help
Cheers,
Akos

ps : please CC me, because I am not on the list. Thank you
