Strictly it is the URL of the repository root which is critical rather
than the server. If the repo root moves to a different URL on the same
server (maybe you renamed the repo) you still have to relocate, yes?

If the project moves within the *same* repository (as happened here),
then you need to use 'switch'.

Maybe I will clarify that a bit more in the docs.
