Commit dialogue freezes sometimes on Win10

Hi,
both the 1.8.latest and the new 1.9.0 (congrats, by the way!) unfortunately freeze in the commit dialog at "please wait" when looking for changes in the WC to commit. This happens in 50% of the cases with one of my WCs. It started to happen immediately after I upgraded from Win 8.1 to Win10.
Is there anything I can do about it? Is this a know issue? How can I help you to track it down?
