storing client side hooks in the repositiory (revisited)

Hi all,

I'd like to revisite my question about storing client side hook
scripts in the repositiory.

My last post about this topic (in february) yielded no response at
all. Perhapse due to the run-up to the last TSVN release?

I would like to store (some of) my client side hook scripts in the
repository.

Having searched the user and dev archives I understand, that this is
not implemented due to security concerns.
Mainly running scripts on the client, the user has no control over.

I think this concern can be dispeled.

TSVN already prompts the user when client side hook scripts are run
for the first time on a working copy.
If TSVN at that point would store the path and revision and/or a
fingerprint of the script too, it would be possible to detect changes
to the script.
In the case of a change, the user would be prompted again.

This way no change to the hook scripts could pass unnoticed.

An option to decide between:
        1) don't allow forever
        2) don't allow, but ask again when the script changes
        3) allow, but ask again when the script changes
        4) allow and don't ask again
may be advisable

Providing a means to examine the changes from the this dialog directly
would be the "Sahnehäubchen".
