Feature request: Make the merge dialog remember its position and size

​Hi Stefan,

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but at least I would be
happy if the merge dialog (FWIW all dialogs that display URLs :) )
 remembered their size (and position).

Reason: We have quite long URLs for our internal repositories and everytime
I want to merge something, the interesting part of the URLs in the combobox
is out of sight to the right.
So I resize the dialog, choose my URL, only to repeat this procedure over
and over again during the next merge. The following screenshot hopefully
illustrates what I mean.
