50% good ideas on my part. Not bad ;)

Drag & Drop of URLs with the current nightly seems to work. At least it
worked once, but I think I brought the project monitor into an unfavourable
situation.

My first try with a github URL worked flawless.

My second try with an internal https:// URL did not add the repository to
the project monitor. In fact, the lock symbol (from dragging the URL) is
still hanging on my screen and I can't make it disappear. This internal
repository requires authentication even for read access. TortoiseSVN should
know the auth data, because I already monitor it via an explorer path. Will
it pop up the auth screen in case it doesn't?

After this failure I can't add projects via drag&drop anymore, so it looks
like the drag&drop handler is in a strange state. The project monitor
itself is fully operable, only drag&drop (URL or path) doesn't work
anymore. Each drag/drop operation leaves its corresponding icon hanging on
the screen.
