Tortoise Merge X64 Crashes

I'm using the latest x64 version of Tortoise on a Windows 8.1 machine
running inside a VM on Parallels.

Almost every time I run Tortoise Merge (either invoked through a "diff" or
just running it) results in the app crashing.

It works sometimes, but crashes most of the time.

How can I help get this fixed?
