surreal problems with tsvn in conjunction with a virus scanner

Admittedly I assume that this isn't tsvn's fault. But since I upgraded
to tsvn 1.8.0 (and with every new version from then on) I sometimes run
into exotic problems (deletion of multiple files fails resulting in
missing md5 sums making subsequent cleanups fail, messages about
incorrect md5sums, old versions of files being comitted instead of new
ones) that aren't reproducible by repeating the steps that caused it. I
get a good chance of running into problems, though, when simultaneously
comitting and deleting large batches of small files.
A few years ago my virus scanner had collisions with tsvn: Seemingly it
didn't let tsvn move newly created files when tsvn needed to. But then
this always resulted in tsvn complaining about acces violations. Later
tsvn versions even contained a workaround that felt like a retry
mechanism.
This time I don't get messages about acces violations, though, so I am
not completely sure if this is a regression of the old problem. I even
assume it isn't caused by a bug in tsvn - but at least wanted to report
it here hoping that there again will be a workaround.

Thanks a lot,
and
Kind regards,

 Gunter.
