What OS are you using? Whenever You use Save as... you should be asked
what to save. This however is not implement where CTaskDialog is not
available (for XP and so).

While Saving focused view is "usual" case, previous version of T-Merge
saved only "target" view. Allowing editing of left view is new feature,
and not base use case for merging, diffing within WC.
I tried to keep is flexible, but user using T-Merge a while should not
be confused by it. For this reason "target" view is set default for save
as view selection.

So question to discuss:
Will we keep this implemenation "Ask what to save" or change to "Save
focused" ?

Are you sure about this?

Save saves edited file whatever is focused. If there is only one either
left, right, or bottom that one is saved. If more views are changed then
you should be asked. Again CTaskDialog have to be supported.
