Log Message for merges pulls in too much info

From: Oskar Berggren <oskar.berggren_at_gmail.com>

When merging a range of revisions, the suggested commit message
includes messages from all revisions in the range, even those which do
not affect the path we're merging from. More details:

This is quite annoying, and is a significant limitation in the
usefulness of the suggested commit message.

What's the developer's take on this? Should it be reported as a bug?

/Oskar
