new release soon?

Hi,

As you may have noticed, there are quite a few problems in the 1.7.8
release that cause other apps to crash:

http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=757&dsMessageId=3000133
http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/ds/viewMessage.do?dsForumId=4061&dsMessageId=3001142

and then there's this one here:
http://code.google.com/p/tortoisesvn/issues/detail?id=394
which already has 4920(!!) crash dumps sent.

So should I create another release this weekend or wait for the next svn
release - which could be a few months away?

The downside of a new release is that people get annoyed by the frequent
updates.

Stefan
