That's what I'm doing now, but since 1.7 TortoiseSVN got a new, nicer,
interface for the externals and in that interface I can't copy in the
overview and have the editor boxes in the submenu so I've to switch thru
the dialogs more often.

I don't say that it is something really missing, but it can be a nice to
have feature.
