I wanted to apply to patch to:
Z:\somefolder\wc-root\subdir\

The patch was located on:
Z:\somefolder\wc-root\subdir\my.patch

Z: is mapped to \\devserver\someshare\

> Did you apply the patch with right-dragging or using the open dialog?

The open dialog.
