My WCs are dead ... again

About two months I use nigthly more often - let say once per week. Few
times I end with WCs with errors like:

Most offen one is like:
This client does not support WC revision 22.

After today update I have two new:

Cleanup with an older 1.7 client before upgrading with this client

'database disk image is malformed'

I'm fine to have test version with most of pig tails, but I wonder if
there is way to inform us about changing WC format in nightly.
