In my case local path is preferred. It usually contains (my) project
name (you cut it out) - which may be tsvn instead of
tortoisesvn.google.com, I set our company project into "cryptic" named
repositories, while this works good for me, my colleague uses "devel
names" and once we put docs to svn other team will use project
commercial name for WC. They would don't care where it is and what
technology is behind it, we just lern them how to use it.
Also it happen to me that I'm comiting to same (mostly ext) path from
different WCs and checking what changes are and if they don't overlap, etc.
