Checking status of a sparse checkout

Hi,

I'm managing a sparse WC using a recent nightly (TortoiseSVN 1.6.99, Build 20007 - 32 Bit -dev, 2010/08/10 22:07:27).
According to the docs, section 4.3, the CFM dialog should show the items not checked out as 'remotely added' after the repository has been checked. This does not happen.
There may be an omission is the docs here, as according to section 4.7.3, I should press Shift when checking the repository to get this effect. But this does not work either.
