Thanks for the tip Stefan, I appreciate your quick response.

However, I'm still very stuck. I did some research on the web and found that the regasm can be found in both Framework & Framwork64, however both version output the same registry settings.

I therefore manually updated the [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\...] entries to
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Wow6432Node\CLSID\...] entries and ran it into the registry.

Unfortunately, that has gotten me no closer :(

We are almost exclusively 64-bit here (we do huge amounts of SQL work and it runs significantly better on 64-bit). 64-bit is obviously getting increasingly popular.

I do keep rebooting after each attempt (is that even necessary or does the settings window re-check every time it's opened)?

I appreciate that this may well come under a 'I'm not here to teach you COM' category, and I do promise we're trying to 'figure it out by Google', but any help you can give to point us in the right direction would be fantastic - I'd much rather spend time actually writing the integration!
